Meet the human behind Silent Morning
I'm Sita, I come from Belgium and since I was a child, drawing and creating things with my hands have been a need. Except for the one time I said I wanted to own a candy store, I always answered "an artist" to the question "what do you want to be when you grow up"?
My other passion in life is to travel.
My somewhat new-age-hippie Mom dragged me to all sorts of retreats and other meditative activities in India & every corner of Europe from a young age. From these experiences, I think I have kept a breeze of zenitude which permeates my art.
Between all of my trips, I found time to complete my Master's degree in drawing at La Cambre, school of visual arts in Brussels.
After graduating I wanted to work with people by linking Art and human contact. So I naturally turned to teaching and I worked in schools and art centers for 10 years while developing my artistic work in parallel.

Tattooing has been a late revelation. I started an apprenticeship during lockdown and then everything seemed to click. This new passion has been an ongoing source of inspiration that nurtures my desires for connection, art, human contact and personal stories. I have so much gratitude for all the people who have trusted me and who allow me to live from this passion.
